textile art
Welcome on my website
Portraits
I always loved working with wool, cotton, rope and clay. Paintings or any wall art that have a 3d structure are one of my favourites. In a museum where I saw some portraits made by Amadeo Modigliani I was inspired to make portraits of women and men in different fabrics, using soft fillings to create a 3d effect.
Sculptures
My sculptures are made of rope and/or clay. They appear to float on their pedestals or on the wall.
Wall textiles
I love the work of Amadeo Modigliani and I love working with fabrics. Modigliani shows his women to be strong and elegant at the same time.
Inspired by his style I made my own portraits and giving the figures a soft filling for a 3d effect. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Sculptures
I love working with rope and clay. I wanted to make sculptures that are not heavy but float on their pedestal or against canvas.
